One very important thing that people tend to lack, is the basic skills that are needed to defend themselves in hostile or dangerous situations.
Taking the effort and time out to learn these life-saving skills can be one of the smartest things that someone does.
Join us March 28, 2020 in Sherman, Texas for six hours of amazing training in basic self-defense, hosted by Texoma Chapter of A Girl and A Gun. (AGAG)
This Workshop’s goal is to give the participants a solid foundation that can be used when a firearm is not available. Your confidence will grow as you learn and practice drills from our written curriculum. These drills will develop the skills you need for multiple scenarios in your self-defense.
Presented Curriculum will include:
Learn how to use what’s around you in an emergency. Turn everyday objects into “weaponized” tools that may be found around the home, office, or on your person in order to defend yourself.
Learn essential techniques, flow drills, and strategies to help you defend yourself and enhance your awareness.
Knife Level One:
Learn strategies to build your confidence against a knife-wielding assailant. These skills will help you against the most common threats when a knife is being used.
Learn how to address commonality of motion to disarm a knife or a firearm. Participants will use leverage points, engage tactile reflex, and have a better understanding of how to address these situations.
