Ever thought of Sherman as a jazzy town? You will after you see this beautiful exhibit!
The Sherman Jazz Museum has a mission of educating the public and preserving jazz, our American musical art form, by exhibiting a unique collection of jazz LPs, videos, music playback machines, and trumpets.
The jazz memorabilia centers around an impressive trumpet exhibit because the trumpet became a solo instrument, in large part, because of jazz. The featured exhibit is the fantastic collection of the Maynard Ferguson estate.
The Sherman Jazz Museum's home is in the historical Masonic Lodge, built in 1924.
