28th year! Once again the Sherman Municipal Lawn turns into a glorious hub of activity for this annual welcome to autumn. Featuring a Judged Art Show & Sale for ages 18 and up, Youth Art Show, Woodcarving Show & Sale; 5K, 15K and Fun Run; Continual Live Music; Pumpkin Patch; Pancake Breakfast; Used Book Sale; Museum Tours; T-shirt Painting for Kids; Food Vendors galore and up to 100 Arts & Craft Vendors. It's a great place to begin your holiday shopping!

Hispanic Heritage Festival sponsored by State Farm Insurance
Event Information:
Come out for the 13th annual Hispanic Heritage Celebration! This is a FREE event that benefits local students!

The event begins at 11 a.m. with a custom car show, live entertainment, amazing authentic food, and a huge kids area.

Check out Mariachi Mexicanisimo, folklorico dancers, contests and prizes on our Main Stage then browse the donks, lowriders, and hot cars at the Custom Car Show. Don't miss the pupusas, tacos, and BBQ!

Stop by the Sherman Municipal Ballroom for the Hispanic Heritage Queen's Coronation Ball, from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. There will be great music and fun times all night! The dance is BYOB with setups available -- no ice chests, please! Admission is $10 per person to the Queen's Coronation Ball.

Hot Summer Nights Concert Series 2010
Event Information:
Hot Summer Nights are sizzling this year!

The concerts kick off June 3, and are held every following Thursday in June and July (except July 1) on the Sherman Municipal Lawn. The bands start at 7:30 p.m. Bring your lawn chairs and bring the kids!

Snowflake Festival
Event Information:
Held in conjunction with the Sherman Christmas Parade, this two-day festival brings retail & food vendors to the downtown square. Enjoy hot chocolate and funnel cakes while you do some Christmas shopping!
