A word from the Sherman Art League:
The “ARTS FEST” stemmed from the annual Sherman Art League show in the Municipal Building. The Sherman Art League was founded in 1961 in Sherman, Texas. It was created to encourage the appreciation of visual art in the community and surrounding areas. After fifty-seven years, we continue to support this goal. Members include artists and patrons from Grayson County, Cooke County, Fannin County, Texas and Bryan County, Marshall County Oklahoma. SAL encourages everyone to become involved whether you are an artist or patron of the Arts!
The “Arts Fest” is so much fun and the food is delicious , but please be sure to include a visit to the Municipal Building to view the many works of Art displayed. The art is, also, offered at reasonable prices. Membership is open to everyone.
