Sherman Main Street’s Chalk the Walk

Come “Chalk the Walk” in downtown Sherman on Saturday, July 11th, from 9:00am-1:00pm! This is a Chalk Art Contest put together by Sherman Main Street, and will take the place of “Christmas in July” this year. The event is free and open to the public, we just ask for you to sign up in advance (chalk will be provided): https://www.ci.sherman.tx.us/FormCenter/City-Manager-2/Chalk-the-Walk-Participant-SignUp-108. You will be assigned a square of sidewalk to create your own chalk art inside of- you can sign up by yourself, or with your family/group. At the end of the event, we will have judges choose 1st-3rd places and winners will receive a Visa Gift Card. Come enjoy the shops and restaurants in downtown Sherman while we fill our sidewalks with beautiful images and positive messages! The squares will be spread out throughout downtown Sherman to allow for social distancing- so come enjoy some fresh air, and family-friendly fun!
