Come celebrate the anniversary of Dwight D. Eisenhower’s 1946 visit to the house and city where he was born. General Eisenhower enjoyed a “big Texas breakfast” in the dining room of the Birthplace before taking part in a parade and a community barbecue in his honor. Enjoy free thematic tours of the Birthplace house featuring preparations for General Eisenhower’s 1946 visit and the Big Texas Breakfast. Light refreshments will be served.
