The Denison Chapter of the Gold Star Mothers managed and gave tours of the Eisenhower Birthplace in the early 1950s. They even hosted Presidential-candidate Dwight Eisenhower for a visit in June 1952. View a special exhibit about these remarkable women and take a free Birthplace tour at 3 pm about the Gold Star Mothers and their role at the Eisenhower Birthplace.
