The LDJ Band was formed in early 2013. It all started with Larry Sumpter and Dan Schwein playing in the church worship band. They quickly realized they not only shared a passion to play for Christ but also country music....especially the classics, Texas/Red Dirt, and of course George Strait! Devin is playing solo acoustic shows and joining top Texas artists such as Jason Boland and Jason Eady on guitar. He and Mike Ryan were winners of the 95.9 Ranch Pickin' Party. His debut album, "Music For the Sole" was released in January of 2011. Justin Pecina is a singer/songwriter from a small town in north Texas. He may not be the rope-throwing-calf-wrestling-four-wheel-driving guy you would expect to come from a nowhere town, but his small town life is present in almost every song he writes.
